We first met Kim through “Sunlovers” at a destination wedding that we attended in 2014. We were impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail during the booking process. When we were attending the wedding and saw how well everything was coordinated and put together, we couldn’t help but be impressed!

Because of this experience, we decided to do our own destination wedding. We quickly ran into a number of issues and felt alone, with no help in sight. Prior to Kim’s involvement, we were at a standstill and were having trouble over the course of several months to plan our wedding. We reached out to Kim hoping that she could help us out and turn our dream wedding into a reality. Right away, Kim took charge of planning our wedding and flooded us with information, options and support. Thankfully, during this time, Kim had a new business venture and asked us to be the first clients of her new concept “Mayan Weddings”. We were a little apprehensive with this at first, however, Kim’s positive attitude, breadth of knowledge and contacts reassured us that it would go off without a hitch.

Kim’s team (Helena), took extra special care in our budget, and more importantly our vision for our wedding. Communicating our wants was seamless with Kim and her team, and they took what we wanted and ran with it. We were very pleased with the skilful team that we had at our fingertips.

With Kim’s help and the help of her wonderful team, we had our wedding fully planned and booked within two months.

Our wedding was phenomenal. It went exactly as planned and looked like it was picked out of our dreams. This could have only happened with the dedication, advice and direction from the Mayan Weddings team. We cannot express our gratitude enough, as we had the most amazing day of our lives.

On another note, during our stay, we had some minor issues at the resort where we and our guests were staying. Kim immediately took charge and treated us like royalty, expecting nothing but the best for the soon-to-be bride and groom. In short, Kim handled our issues right away, with minimal involvement from us. We couldn’t have been happier to have minor issues taken off our plate by Kim and her team.
