Once we started working with Kim & SunLovers Travel we were so blown away by her service that adding on her Mayan Weddings design team was a no brainer.  The hotel decor packages were too cookie cutter.  We liked bits and pieces from each package but nothing grabbed our attention.

Now enter Mayan Weddings ❤️  We had a meeting with Kim and her partner Helena, and told them our vision.  They created the most beautiful inspiration board specifically catered to all our wants and needs.  It included photos of different decor options, along with pricing as they knew staying within our budget was important to us.  They came up with such creative ways to make our wedding even more beautiful than we could have imagined.  There is obviously some nervousness when you are choosing flowers & decor by photos alone and not seeing examples in person.  When we showed up on our wedding day we were absolutely blown away.  It was more than we could have imagined and this was all thanks to Mayan Weddings.  It proved that they understood our vision 100% and went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come to life.

We also chose to have the wedding day concierge service provided by Mayan Weddings and couldn’t be more happy with this service!  Kim & Helena were there all through the day taking care of anything we needed.  They directed the hotel during setup and even found us the most beautiful backup location if the weather didn’t hold up.  We were lucky enough to have the rain clear just before the wedding, but it was such a relief to know our backup option was just as beautiful.  They directed the guests as they showed up and told them where to go all throughout the day.  We never had guests standing around wondering “what next?”.

Kim came with us during our photos after the ceremony as she knew so many beautiful spots on the property.  She even got us access to a breathtaking private property on the resort that we would have never known about or be allowed into!  Photos can be stressful and Kim was there every step of the way holding my dress, shoes, purse and even my drink!!  She had our backs from the beginning of the day right to the end and made sure everything went smoothly for us.  We couldn’t have imagined how the day would have gone without her and Helena by our sides.

We keep thinking about our wedding day and how perfect it was.  None if it would have been possible without Mayan Weddings.  Thank you Kim & Helena from the bottom of our hearts for making our dream wedding come true!! xoxoxo
